Abstract

  • Daily and monthly indices of wind induced upwelling and turbulence at Trujillo (08∘06′S) and Callao (12∘00′S) are presented for the period 1953-85. The indices are based on 6-8 hourly computations of Ekman transport and wind cubed using wind direction and wind velocity data. All were recorded at airports of these localities.
