The objective of the present work is to present the different types of parasites found in 32 marine species of the Peruvian coast and freshwater; fish, mollusks and crustaceans are included, acting as hosts. The research is related to parasitic helminthofauna, fungi, bacteria, protozoa and some crustaceans. It has been developed for 30 years, mainly in Peru, in the Regional Laboratories of IMARPE, and in the Laboratory of Invertebrate Zoology of the National University of San Marcos, in the Laboratory of Aquaculture Health of the National Agrarian University La Molina and, in the laboratory of Functional Morphology of the University of Rio Grande do Sul (FURG) in Brazil. Compound microscopes and the Hematoxylin-Eosin staining technique were used for histological sections and hematoxylin D’Lafield and borax carmine for helminths. It emphasizes the presence of endoparasites in the “grey mullet”. A new genus and new species of monogeneo in the “palm fish”; protozoan cysts in the “Peruvian anchovy”, “mackerel”, “common sole”. The fungus Icthyophonus hoferi in the hepatic tissue of the “rainbow trout”; larvae of cestodes in the skeletal muscle tissue of the “sea bass” andt the myxosporidium Kudoa peruvianus, endoparasite of the muscle tissue of the “Peruvian hake”, among others.
