Abstract

On February 5th 2013, around Elephant Island two sets of experimental fishing with bottom trawl Granton 352/200 were executed. The trawl station was between 30 to 35 min, at depths of 90 to 125 m with a trawl speed of 3 to 4 knots. For analysis of the static and dynamic perfomance of the network, Trawl vision Pro 3D software was used. The bottom trawl simulation presented a horizontal opening of 19.1 m and 4 m vertical, filtering water volume 44.5 m3 and technical efficiency of 60.9% complying with the standards of good performance.
